We are a family of committed followers of Jesus.

Our building is located in the Myerstown, PA, where we love, serve and support our community.

The Fireplace Christian Fellowship is a non-denominational church comprised of small groups of believers who are committed to being a spiritual family that does life together. The book House to House written by Larry Kreider, describes our foundational principles and their importance.

We fellowship together throughout the week in small groups, for Bible study, fellowship, and worship. We meet corporately on Sunday mornings for breakfast, worship and celebration.

Service to our local community is an essential part of our responsibility to share God's love in a chaotic and often difficult world. To this end we commit ourselves to acts of service that extend from Myerstown to the outermost parts of the earth - consistent with the teaching of Jesus in Matthew 28:16-20.

Why is this church called The Fireplace?

John said, "I baptize you with water, but one more powerful than I will come, the strings of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire. He will clean his harvest floor, gather the wheat into the barn, but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire." Luke 3:16-17 NIV

As we build our relationship with Jesus, through prayer and study, and with one another through fellowship and service, we are committed to making and growing disciples. We take our mandate to reach the world with the love of God very seriously — and endeavor to do so: house to house, city to city, and nation to nation.

To enable us to fulfill our mission, we desire is that the Holy Spirit will expose and remove anything that would hinder us - being ever refined to more fully reflect the image of Jesus.

The Fireplace is accountable to Dove Christian Fellowship International, based in Lititz, PA.

Our beliefs are consistent with Biblical Christianity as described in the Bible itself, the Lausanne Covenant, and also with the teaching of DCFI as described here.
